The Cromwell is a Tier VI British Medium Tank.

A great all rounder tank, with somewhat good armor for such medium-light tanks, which can trigger some lucky bounces. However, this armor is otherwise useless due to the fact that the armor is mostly flat.

With the stock turret, the player is allowed to mount the 3.7 inch howitzer (Which is from the Alecto and AT 2), thus making the Cromwell, a 'Derpwell'. Many players will accept this gun, which allows them to work on mobility.

When the second turret is unlocked, research and mounting is allowed for more appropriate anti-tank weapons. The two new guns; the Mk V and HV 75mm guns are quite decent. Both are similar, but the Mk V has somewhat poor penetration, which may force you to spill some gold ammunition.

The following is spoilers and historical inaccuracy about this vehicle! The reason Wargaming did this is due to game balancing in most cases! To see, click open

  • There were actually two versions: the Centaur and the actual Cromwell
    • The main difference was that the Centaur had the 340 hp engine, which is not present for the in-game Cromwell. Add with that, the 650 hp engine was not used on the Cromwell.
  • The exhaust vent is just an addition. It was to prevent the exhaust smoke from being sucked into the engine again.
  • Interestingly, the Cromwell was the development after the Churchill tank; Make a more mobile version of the Churchill infantry tanks.
