The Durchbruchswagen 2 is a Tier IV German Heavy Tank.

This tank marks the bases of German heavy tanks up to the Tiger I.

As everyone knows, this type of design results in poor armor and protection. However, this is negated by good sidescraping abilities due to its thick side armor.

The armament is not too much. The top gun is a 5cm gun with 67mm of penetration. It has decent DPM (For its tier at least) and fast RoF, but some quite low alpha. Its gun has decent accuracy of the Germans and can snipe effectively, but the rather thick armor does not make sniping a good idea because you have a rather large size. Its suffers on the lowest power to weight ratios in the game, only the Sturer Emil and the superheavies E 100 and Maus suffer worse power to weight ratios, so you should stick to routes that stay on solid, flat ground, and in the city, where flanking you will prove difficult. One noticeable advantage of the heavy weight compared to other tanks is the ability to ram them. If you are lucky and fast enough, you will be able to cause some serious damage to them as well as using your accurate gun, which can make it a good rammer only when you are either ramming other slow tanks or ramming faster tanks that are distracted by your teammates.

The armor is the same all around, at 50mm. This does have advantages though. This means you can sidescrape with ANY side of the hull. And with the Tiger I design, angling in a diamond style will increase armor effectiveness as well as the turret, which also has the same armor thickness as the body armor. One noticeable weakness is the cupola, which is actually relatively large; as such you can sway the turret left and right to throw off opponents into missing a shot to the vulnerable spot.
