World of Tanks is a Free-to-play game made by where players take the role of their favorite tanks to do battle. As of right now, there are over 200 different vehicles in the game from historic Germany, the Soviet Union, France, China, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Gameplay Edit

There are five different types of battles: random battles, team-training battles, tank-company battles, clan battles, and platoon.

Random BattlesEdit

In random battles, players are randomly assigned to one of two teams. Players can be paired up with one other person so that they can still be on the same team as their friends but as of the latest update, you can now play with three of your friends in a single platoon.

Tank-company battlesEdit

Tank-company battles occur when a player creates a tank-company that anyone can join. Once enough people have joined, the tank-company is paired with another tank-company for a head-to-head battle. The most players any tank-company can have is 15.

Clan BattlesEdit

Clans are persistent groups that players can join. Once in a clan, players can participate in Clan battles, which occur on a simplistic map of Europe. For those who do not want to join a clan, but still want to participate in the clan battles, a mercenary pass can be bought to join any clan in need.

Platoons are 2-3 player groups that are capable of going into random battles together.

Customization Edit

Tanks can be customized using the in-game garage. You can research and buy new modules for your tank which include new guns, tracks, turrets and much more. Many tanks can feature a two- or three-toned camouflage scheme. Camouflage makes the vehicle harder for enemy vehicles to detect while adding visual flair. Decals are also available for players to further customize their tanks.
